VINTAGE OHIO & CORNHOLE: 8/2/2008 : 1:00PM

You may be surprised to find that Ohio wineries have developed an international reputation for quality.
Twenty Four wineries from across the State will be sampling their best Vintages at Vintage Ohio, August 1st & 2nd at Lake Metroparks Farmpark.
Vintage Ohio is an annual wine tasting festival in Kirtland Ohio which exclusively features Ohio Wineries.
As a Cleveland Plays participant you can purchase discount tickets $17 per person ($22 public). For your ticket you will be able to sample wines from 24 different Ohio wineries, enjoy performing art shows, live music, explore works of local crafters and even play cornhole!
We will be running a cornhole pool play tournament at the festival on Saturday August 2nd. Play will begin at 3pm. $40 entry fee per 2 player team - great cash prizes $750 for 1st plus bottles of Ohio's finest wines. Cancelation rules play each team in your pool 2 games to 21 do not have to win by two. Top finishers in each pool advance to playoffs.

Glenville Heritage Health and Wellness 1 mile Walk and 5k Run
COURSE: Starts in Sam Miller Park through historic Rockefeller Park and back- Certified distance
PRIZES: Cash prizes for top two male and female finishers in open and senior divisions (50+) plus gift certificates from Second Sole Running Apparel stores and goodie bags for all entrants!
FEES $15 per walker/ runner $25 day of event

Double Elimination Co-ed Tournament. Follow Cleveland Plays Rules. Roster limit 12 players. On field 6 guys 4 girls.
Coffe donuts fruit plus hot dogs, burgers and beer included!
Winner receives entry into any Fall or Spring Cleveland Plays League.

TWILIGHT TRAIL RUN: 8/14/2008 : 7:00PM

WHERE: Willoughby, Cleveland Metro Parks, N. Chagrin Reservation, River Grove Picnic Area, Chagrin River Rd., in between Chardon & Wilson Mills Rds., ½ mile South of Squire’s Castle, parking at River Grove or across street.
COURSE: 8k/4.9 miles, 99% of course on dirt bridle trails, crosses 1 stream and has 1 major & many minor rolling hills

To honor the Summer Olympics in China, Cleveland Plays has teamed up with Metromix to bring you the Cleveland Summer Beer Games!
Your two person team will compete in eight events designed to test your strength, balance, will, determination and endurance...or not...
Competitions include, Beer Pong, Cornhole, Hoola Hoop, 3 legged racing, Wii Bowling, Darts and Balloon Toss.
Prizes for winners and beer for everyone! Plus drink specials for the non beer people!
